Sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra, is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It is most commonly used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in your penis, allowing blood to flow into the penis when you get sexually excited and causing an erection.

Sildenafil should be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity, but it is essential to follow the recommended dosage instructions provided by your healthcare provider. The standard dose is 100 mg, taken about 30 minutes to 1 hour before sexual activity. This dose is suitable for men who have difficulty taking the medication.
Store at room temperature between 15°C and 30°C (59°F to 86°F). Keep out of reach of children.
The symptoms of an overdose of Sildenafil are similar to those of other medications, so it is important to seek medical advice before use. If an overdose is suspected, medical attention should be sought by calling the Poison Control Centre at your nearest hospital.

You have severe heart problems, recent myocardial infarction (heart attack), or have had a stroke.
You are taking medicines called nitrates for chest pain or heart problems.
You have low blood pressure.
You are taking cisapride or rizatriptan for hay fever.
You are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
You have a rare inherited eye disease.
You are using recreational drugs called "poppers" or "adafincs."
You have high blood pressure or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
